2/25/11
homework: Math pg. 429 (1-4all) and (10-20 evens)
PLEASE MEMORIZE PARTS FOR THE PLAY!!!!
Today we learned Factoring Polynomials; how if two of the whole numbers can be reduced then reduce them. Then ,if you can, the other whole numbers should be reduced.
EX. 6xy + 24x3y3 + 15 +60 x2y2
FIRST SINCE THE FIRST TWO HAVE SIX, X, AND Y IN COMMON YOU DIVIDE IT.
6xy(1 + 4x2y2)
THEN THE LAST TWO HAVE 15 IN COMMON SO YOU DIVIDE IT.
15(1+4x2y2) -since 15 can't divide the variables you put them down with the original/new owner.
BUT THEN YOU SEE IN THE PARENTHESIS THEY ARE ALL THE SAME YOU CHANGE IT. SO YOU GET.....
(6xy+15)(1+4x2y2) -WOULD BE YOUR ANSWER!!!!:)
VALERIE SANCHEZ
Note: In this example the larger numbers are constants and the smaller digits are exponents.

Bailey's first blog..................
Today Deb got angry and nearly killed us all so she had us write essays suggesting what we should do about noise, the most popular result was changing desks. Page 422 (2-28) even, 30 extra credit. Language Network Page 616 ( SEC. 1-4) Bailey
I admit I was mad....but KILL you? Not even close! The best thing we did was watch the Discovery launch. How amazing to watch something that big boost into space. 6,000,000 pounds of pressure generated during lift off!
