Algebra chapter review 571
History - write two letters one from anti-slavery point of view, the other from pro-slavery point of view. Letters will be graded on the logic of the arguments.

Science - think of a demonstration that will help explain the word you were given to do. ( reference point, distance, displacement, vector)

Spelling words: portmanteau, complimentary, complementary, supplementary, congruent, similar, spiritual

  1. Who is the point of view suppose to be on? Is the one Pro slavery suppose to be a slave owner or is he a slave himself?

  2. One letter is from someone, anyone, who supports the idea of slavery. It could be a slave holder, or a merchant, or just someone brought up in that culture so they think it is OK. The other letter is from someone who is against slavery. These two people know each other and are writing without animosity to try and explain/defend their way of thinking. You make up these characters.
